On the about page of the Statsaholic website, Hornbaker says he changed the name on March 18, 2007, which was only 8 days before the lawsuit was filed. I don't know anything about this, and from your reporting it does sound like they are being harsh, but I just wanted to submit that correction.

Interesting analysis; but, you are missing one factor; Alexaholic/Statsaholic is hotlinking to the Alexa graphs.

and you'll find the img source to be

http://traffic.alexa.com/gr...

There is no API for the graph and Alexaholic was and still is hotlinking to the graphs.
